Tiny Time Travels: California

Los Angeles, California

We’ve taken several road trips to California since relocating to Arizona and have enjoyed our time in California. Here are some cool spots that we’ve been to while visiting California.

California Science Center – 700 Exposition Park Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90037

Admission: FREE

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting this science center. Not only is this science center apart of the ASTC program which allows you to visit associated science centers and museums for free. As with my science center back home in St. Louis since it’s already free to go to the science center, they offer other incentives for being a part of the ASTC program. They had so many different rooms to explore from the fun tech room and aquarium to the interactive weather area, my family enjoyed our visit and plan to go back again. It’s definitely worth visiting.

San Diego, California

LEGOLAND CALIFORNIA – 1 Legoland Dr, Carlsbad, CA 92008

Admission: $$$

After visiting the LEGOLAND back in Arizona, we knew that we had to visit the one in California so I planned a trip for my daughter’s birthday. We scored a GREAT deal on Groupon and I was able to get 2-day tickets to all 3 parks (water park, theme park, and SEALIFE Aquarium) for 2 people all for the price of $133.20! I didn’t have to pay for my second daughter since she’s 2 so our family was able to go for around the price you’d spend on a 1-day ticket. Groupon was definitely worth looking at before going. Since we’re not too far, we drove to California and had fun during her birthday weekend.
